Areas of Expertise
Amy advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. She defends employment tribunal claims on behalf of her clients in both the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, unlawful deduction from wages and whistleblowing. Amy also has experience with defending claims in the County Court. She advises clients with day-to-day HR queries and drafts contracts of employment, policies and procedures.
Amy also supports the Corporate, Banking and Property teams, including completing employment due diligence on mergers and acquisitions.
Amy also advises clients on a range of employment related data protection matters, including preparing privacy notices, policies, data sharing agreements and advising on data subject access requests by employees.
As part of her training contract, Amy spent a year in the Employment and Pensions department before qualifying there in 2018.

Amy graduated from Manchester University with a BA in Philosophy, before completing her GDL at BPP in Waterloo and LPC at the University of Law in Bloomsbury.
Amy participates in the Personal Statement Checking Service scheme run by the Social Mobility Foundation, which supports high achieving students from low income backgrounds in their applications to university.
Amy is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
