Notable Cases

She has assisted a client to settle a disrepair claim where there was a significant disagreement between respective experts over completion of necessary works. She negotiated a Schedule of Works which reflected the clients experts findings but included a few minor items from the tenants experts report meaning that a settlement could be reached and completion of works was not a sticking point which prevented early settlement and avoided unnecessary costs being incurred.

She has advised a client on a complex ASB matter where the tenant has been held on a mental health section due to their behaviour. Advice has included determining capacity to litigate for the purposes of Court litigation should it become necessary.
