Areas of Expertise
Courtney is a Solicitor in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.
Previously, she completed her first seat in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team and second seat in Real Estate and Projects, working alongside Triya Maicha. Her final seat was completed in our Banking, Governance and Corporate team working alongside Michelle Mullen.
She assists with a wide range of disputes, including contractual issues, inquests, regulatory investigations, IT disputes, fraud, debt recovery, partnership disputes, and general commercial disputes. Courtney has acted for a wide range of clients including private companies, Registered Providers, individuals and regulators.
Courtney has experience in a range of different courts including the Court of Appeal and Privy Council and methods of Alternative Dispute Resolution, including negotiations and mediations.
Courtney is often commended for her organisation and proficiency and is regularly expected to deal with thought-provoking matters that require innovative thinking. Her notable communication skills mean that she can assist with the resolution of complex disputes in a timely and expedient manner.
During her seat in our Real Estate and Projects department, Courtney advised on a wide range of property transactions, including a large number of Golden Brick arrangements, Section 106 Agreements and other statutory agreements and various development acquisitions.
Experience
Courtney was a Paralegal in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team before securing her training contract with Devonshires. She was involved in a number of complex litigation cases including a high-profile case involving offshore derivatives and wealth management planning for a well-established General Wealth Management Company. She also assisted with a high-profile inquest.

Courtney graduated with a LLB (Hons) in Law, before completing her LPC at BBP University (Holborn).
